Media Release and Consent Agreement

Effective Date: March 2026

JHSwimInstruction (“we,” “our,” or “us”) may record video, take photographs, or capture other media during swim instruction sessions for instructional and promotional purposes. This Media Release outlines how that content may be used and your rights regarding it.

By signing this agreement, you grant permission for the use of media as described below.

Consent to Record

I understand and agree that swim lessons may be recorded through video, photography, or other media formats.

Use of Media

I grant JHSwimInstruction permission to use recorded media, including images, video, and audio, for the following purposes:

  • Social media content
  • Marketing and advertising materials
  • Website and online presence
  • Educational or instructional content

This may include, but is not limited to, platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and paid advertisement.

I understand that this content may be edited, reproduced, and shared publicly.

Editing/Context

understand that media may be edited for length, clarity, or promotional purposes and may be used alone or in combination with other content.


No Compensation

I understand that I will not receive compensation for the use of any recorded media.


Ownership

All media recorded by JHSwimInstruction remains the property of JHSwimInstruction.


Voluntary Agreement

I understand that participation in recorded content is voluntary. I have the option to decline being recorded, unless otherwise stated in a promotional offer or agreement.

Promotional Offers (if applicable)

I understand that certain promotions, including discounted or complimentary lessons, may require participation in recorded content. If I choose not to be recorded, standard pricing may apply.

Privacy Limitation

JHSwimInstruction will not intentionally disclose sensitive personal information such as full names, home addresses, or contact details in connection with any media.

Release of Claims

I release and hold harmless JHSwimInstruction from any claims, demands, or liabilities related to the use of recorded media as outlined in this agreement.


Minors

If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent on their behalf and agrees to all terms of this release.

Duration of Consent

This consent is granted indefinitely unless a written request to withdraw consent is submitted.

A request to withdraw consent will apply to future use of media and will not require the removal of content that has already been published or distributed.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
