Welcome to JHSwimInstruction. By booking, scheduling, or participating in any swim instruction services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Services

JHSwimInstruction provides private and small group swim instruction for individuals of all ages. Lessons may take place at client-provided pools, community facilities, or other agreed-upon locations.

Booking and Scheduling

  • All lessons must be scheduled in advance.
  • Availability is offered on a first come, first served basis.
  • A lesson is considered confirmed once agreed upon through message or payment.


Payments

  • Payment terms will be communicated prior to booking.
  • Lessons may require prepayment depending on the service or promotion.
  • Any applicable pricing, packages, or promotional offers will be clearly outlined before confirmation.


Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • At least 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a forfeited session or fee.
  • Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate emergencies.


Late Arrivals

Lessons will begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without extension or refund.


Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Completed lessons are non-refundable.


Weather Policy

  • Lessons may be rescheduled in cases of unsafe weather conditions, including lightning or heavy storms.
  • Safety will always be the deciding factor for weather-related cancellations.


Travel and Location

  • JHSwimInstruction is a travel-based service.
  • Clients are responsible for providing a safe, accessible, and suitable pool environment.
  • Any travel limitations or additional fees will be communicated in advance.


Client Responsibilities

By booking a lesson, the client agrees that:

  • The pool or facility is safe and properly maintained
  • Water conditions and chemical balance are appropriate
  • The space is free from hazards
  • Proper supervision is present for minors when required

JHSwimInstruction is not responsible for the condition, maintenance, or safety of the pool or facility provided by the client.


Use of Third-Party Facilities

If lessons take place at a community or public facility, the client is responsible for ensuring permission to use the space and complying with all facility rules and regulations.

Minors and Supervision

  • A parent or legal guardian must be present for all lessons involving minors unless otherwise agreed.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children outside of instructional time.

No Lifeguard Duty

JHSwimInstruction provides swim instruction and is not acting as a lifeguard. Clients and guardians are responsible for maintaining appropriate supervision at all times.


Health and Illness

Clients should not attend lessons if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, including but not limited to fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions. Lessons may be rescheduled in these cases.


Emergency Situations

In the event of an emergency, JHSwimInstruction may take appropriate action to ensure the safety of the participant, including contacting emergency services if necessary.


Assumption of Risk

Swimming is an activity that carries inherent risks, including injury or drowning. By participating in lessons, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

A separate Liability Waiver must be signed prior to participation.


Recording and Media

Lessons may be recorded for instructional or promotional purposes only with prior written consent. Certain promotional offers may be contingent on agreeing to be recorded and granting media usage rights, which will be outlined separately.


Right to Refuse Service

JHSwimInstruction reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Safety conditions are not met
  • There is inappropriate or unsafe behavior
  • These Terms and Conditions are not respected

Communication

By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communication regarding scheduling, lessons, and services. Message and data rates may apply.


Website Use

All content on this website is for general informational purposes. We reserve the right to update or modify content at any time without notice.


Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.


Changes to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updates.
